Jake Ströh is the professional brand name of Jason Stroeh. Every brand is built, developed and created from a historical thread. The Jake Ströh brand that precedes the person is exactly that.
Jake’s background in audio engineering and video production began in Chicago where he produced radio and television spots for large national brands. Working with many of the large Chicago marketing/ad agencies reinforced his understanding that effective branding and intentional marketing could elevate and differentiate an organization. Inspired, he returned to Milwaukee and founded Lake Effect, LLC in 2003. His passion for merging audio, video and motion graphics together with directed branding served as a springboard toward developing interactive content and social media content for his clients on the web.
A few years after founding Lake Effect, Jake began teaching web development tools to other professionals, students at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and, later, his alma mater, the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. The experience has proven effective in not only training young talent but in conducting research and introducing emerging technologies and their unique benefits to Lake Effect clients.
Jake is also a published author at lynda.com, where he has written two titles that focus on motion graphics in an HTML5, mobile media world.
Since the company’s inception, Jake has continued to leverage his experience and direct the vision of Lake Effect, “to bring the latest and best technical solutions to clients while providing not just interactive tools but long-term strategic marketing solutions.”
